Tradexam editorial desk
Editorial Policy
This Policy explains how Tradexam develops, reviews, labels, corrects and updates educational materials, assessments, lectures, articles, reviews and contributor content.
Educational clarity
Content should explain concepts clearly without presenting education as personalised financial advice.
Evidence and context
Material claims should be supported by appropriate sources and presented with relevant limitations.
Visible disclosures
Commercial relationships, sponsorships and material conflicts should be disclosed clearly.
Correctable record
Material errors should be reviewed and corrected rather than hidden or knowingly preserved.
Editorial independence
Payment or access must not be presented as proof of product quality, safety or performance.
Publication workflow
From topic selection to post-publication review.
The level of review may vary according to format and risk. Time-sensitive market material, product reviews and content involving financial claims require greater verification than general definitions or introductory lessons.
Topic and purpose
Define the learning objective, intended reader and appropriate content format.
Research
Gather relevant primary sources, documentation and necessary contextual material.
Draft
Create content that separates facts, analysis, examples, opinion and commercial material.
Verification
Check material factual claims, links, calculations, labels, limitations and disclosures.
Publication
Publish with an appropriate title, date, author or editorial attribution and content label.
Monitoring
Review correction reports, broken links, material updates and changes to referenced services.
Tradexam publishes general educational and informational content about financial markets, trading concepts, technical analysis, fundamental analysis, risk management, trading psychology, digital assets and related tools.
This Policy applies to Tradexam editors, authors, mentors, reviewers and contributors involved in preparing material for publication on tradexam.com.
Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to learning materials, tests, lectures, articles, reviews, comparisons, market explainers, case examples, contributor content and other editorial material published through Tradexam.
It also applies to material created through a commercial relationship, including sponsored content, affiliate content, supplied access or another material connection.
Administrative notices, legal documents, basic navigation text and direct user correspondence may follow separate operational processes while remaining subject to standards of accuracy and transparency.
Editorial Purpose
Tradexam aims to make financial and market concepts easier to understand while clearly communicating uncertainty, limitations and risk.
Editorial content should help readers:
- understand terminology and market structures;
- evaluate information more critically;
- recognise financial and behavioural risks;
- compare methods and analytical approaches;
- identify areas requiring additional study; and
- distinguish general education from personalised advice.
The primary editorial purpose is to explain and contextualise. Content should not create pressure to enter a transaction or imply that financial success is guaranteed.
Editorial Independence
Editorial conclusions should not be presented as independent where a sponsor, affiliate partner, product provider or another interested party has dictated the conclusion.
A commercial relationship may support the production or distribution of content, but it must not be hidden from the reader where disclosure is relevant.
Tradexam may refuse, revise, postpone or remove material that does not meet editorial, disclosure, risk or accuracy standards.
Providing payment, free access, software, data, promotional materials or another benefit does not guarantee publication, a favourable score or a positive conclusion.
Core Editorial Standards
Source and Verification Standards
The appropriate source standard depends on the claim. High-impact, time-sensitive or disputed claims require stronger verification than general educational definitions.
Primary and official sources
Laws, regulatory publications, official documentation, company filings, technical documentation, datasets and direct announcements are preferred for specific factual claims.
Independent specialist sources
Established research, academic publications and reputable specialist reporting may provide context, analysis or independent verification.
Company and provider materials
Marketing pages and supplied documentation may describe a provider’s claims but should not automatically be treated as independent evidence.
User reports and community sources
Reviews, forums and social posts may identify experiences or issues but should not normally be the sole basis for a serious factual allegation.
Anonymous information may be considered where it is relevant, but significant claims should receive additional corroboration before publication.
Time-sensitive information
Prices, fees, product features, regulations, platform availability and company information may change. Where relevant, content should identify the date or period to which the information relates.
Facts, Analysis and Opinion
Tradexam distinguishes between verifiable factual statements, editorial analysis, forecasts, opinions and educational examples.
- Facts should be supported by appropriate evidence.
- Analysis should explain the reasoning, assumptions or methodology involved.
- Opinion should be presented as opinion rather than objective fact.
- Forecasts should acknowledge uncertainty and must not be described as guaranteed outcomes.
- Examples should not be presented as actual transactions unless they are genuinely documented as such.
A contributor’s opinion may be published without representing the official position of every Tradexam editor or contributor.
Content Types and Labels
Where the content type may materially affect how a reader interprets a page, Tradexam should use a clear label or disclosure.
General instructional content
Explains a topic, framework, process or risk for learning purposes.
Interpretive material
Presents an editorial view, scenario or analytical interpretation rather than an undisputed conclusion.
Structured evaluation
Assesses a product, platform, service or tool against disclosed or reasonably identifiable criteria.
Materially revised content
Indicates that significant sections, facts or conclusions have been reviewed or changed.
Paid editorial-format content
Identifies material whose production or publication was financially supported by an interested party.
Compensated referral relationship
Explains when Tradexam may receive compensation connected with a qualifying referral or action.
A disclosure should be placed where a reasonable reader is likely to notice it before or while engaging with the relevant commercial claim or link.
Reviews, Comparisons and Ratings
A review should explain what is being evaluated and should not present unsupported promotional claims as independently verified facts.
Where reasonably applicable, a review should consider:
- the identity and availability of the provider;
- the stated purpose and main features of the product;
- fees, costs and important conditions;
- risk disclosures and significant limitations;
- security and account-access considerations;
- customer support and withdrawal procedures where relevant;
- the date on which information was reviewed; and
- the limits of Tradexam’s access or testing.
Hands-on experience
A review must not claim that Tradexam or an author opened an account, deposited funds, completed a withdrawal, earned a profit or used a live product unless that activity actually occurred and can be supported internally.
Demo access, screenshots, provider-supplied demonstrations and publicly available materials must not be described as equivalent to independent live-account testing.
Ratings and scores
A numerical score should reflect an editorial methodology or identifiable criteria. A score must not be increased merely because a provider paid for advertising, supplied access or offered compensation.
Tradexam does not permit fake user experiences, invented profits, fabricated quotations, false credentials or undisclosed paid conclusions to be presented as genuine independent evidence.
Sponsored, Affiliate and Commercial Content
Tradexam may publish advertising, sponsored material, affiliate links or other content connected with a commercial relationship.
Where such a relationship may affect how a reader evaluates the content, the relationship should be disclosed clearly and in language appropriate to the page.
Commercial content should not:
- be disguised as independent editorial coverage;
- omit a material relationship that would affect reader interpretation;
- make unsupported promises of profit or loss prevention;
- misrepresent a paid placement as an unsolicited recommendation;
- claim that a product is risk-free where material risks exist; or
- prevent Tradexam from including relevant limitations or disclosures.
Compensation, free access or a referral arrangement does not establish that a provider is regulated, secure, profitable, suitable or free from risk.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors, mentors, editors and reviewers should disclose material interests that could reasonably affect their coverage.
Potential conflicts may include:
- ownership of a discussed asset or token;
- employment, consulting or contractual relationships;
- compensation from a covered provider;
- free or preferential product access;
- personal or family relationships with a subject;
- participation in an affiliate programme; or
- another financial interest in the outcome of coverage.
A disclosed conflict does not automatically prevent publication, but it may require additional review, reassignment, contextual disclosure or rejection of the material.
AI-Assisted Editorial Work
Tradexam may use artificial intelligence or automated tools to assist with brainstorming, structuring, language editing, summarisation, formatting or research organisation.
AI-assisted material must receive appropriate human review before publication.
AI tools must not be relied upon to:
- invent sources, quotations or personal experiences;
- create false evidence of profits or transactions;
- replace verification of material factual claims;
- make personalised financial recommendations;
- copy protected material without appropriate permission; or
- present uncertain information as confirmed fact.
Where AI involvement is material to the nature or reliability of content, Tradexam may add an appropriate disclosure.
The person approving publication remains responsible for checking the final material against this Policy.
Authors, Editors and Mentors
Contributors should work within their actual knowledge, experience and assigned role.
Biographical statements, qualifications and professional experience must not be fabricated or materially exaggerated.
Mentors may explain general concepts and learning methods, but their participation does not create a personal adviser-client relationship with users.
Contributors are expected to:
- follow the educational and risk boundaries of Tradexam;
- identify material conflicts of interest;
- use sources responsibly;
- cooperate with reasonable fact-checking and corrections;
- avoid plagiarism and misrepresentation; and
- protect confidential and personal information.
Tradexam may edit contributor material for clarity, structure, risk language, disclosure, accuracy and consistency with the site’s editorial format.
Financial and Market Content
Tradexam financial content is general education and information. It must not be presented as an assessment of an individual reader’s financial circumstances or suitability.
Content discussing an asset, strategy, platform or financial product should avoid:
- guaranteed return claims;
- statements that loss is impossible;
- unsupported price predictions presented as certainty;
- pressure to act immediately;
- claims that education eliminates financial risk;
- omission of material leverage or volatility risks; and
- confusion between hypothetical and actual performance.
Past performance, backtests, simulations and educational case examples must not be presented as guarantees of future results.
Relevant content should be read together with the Tradexam Risk Disclosure and Educational Disclaimer.
Corrections and Clarifications
Tradexam reviews credible reports of factual errors, misleading wording, broken sources, incorrect calculations and outdated material information.
Minor edit
Spelling, formatting, punctuation or non-material wording may be corrected without a separate correction notice.
Material correction
A factual change that affects interpretation may receive a visible correction or update note.
Withdrawal
Content may be removed or archived where it cannot be corrected reliably or materially violates policy.
A correction request should identify the exact page, disputed statement and supporting source or explanation.
Submitting a request does not guarantee that Tradexam will agree with the proposed correction, but the report may be reviewed according to the available evidence.
Content Updates and Archiving
Tradexam may update content when regulations, products, fees, risks, software, market structures or source information change.
A page may display a publication date, review date or updated date. An updated date does not necessarily mean that every sentence or linked source was reverified on that date.
Older content may remain available for educational or historical context where its original date is clear.
Material that is substantially outdated, unsafe, inaccurate or no longer supportable may be revised, redirected, archived or removed.
User Feedback and Submitted Material
Tradexam may receive corrections, suggestions, mentor applications, comments, testimonials or other submitted material.
A user submission does not automatically represent the position of Tradexam and may require verification, editing or rejection before publication.
Tradexam does not knowingly publish fabricated testimonials, manipulated evidence or confidential information submitted without appropriate authority.
Users should not send passwords, private keys, seed phrases, API secrets, one-time codes or financial-account access information.
Policy Review and Enforcement
Tradexam may review content and contributor activity for compliance with this Policy.
Where appropriate, action may include:
- requesting additional sources or clarification;
- adding a disclosure or risk notice;
- editing or correcting material;
- changing a content label;
- withdrawing or archiving a page;
- declining a submitted article or partnership; or
- ending a contributor relationship.
Tradexam may update this Policy when editorial formats, monetisation methods, contributor arrangements, technology or applicable requirements change.
The date at the top of the page identifies the current published version.
